Love Emblem

Carolyn G. "Sis" (Driscoll) Kling, a lifelong Newton resident, passed away suddenly at home on Sun Oct. 2, 2016. She was 84.
Carolyn graduated from Our Lady Help of Christians High School in 1950 and attended Aquinas Jr. College. She had worked for over 15 years as a customer service manager for South Shore Savings Bank. Loved by everyone who knew her, Carolyn quietly gave herself to others, beyond her devotion to her late husband, John and her children. Throughout her 18 year Bereavement Ministry work at Our Lady's Parish, she provided comfort and support to so many during times of great sadness. She will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known and loved her.
Wife of the late John P. Kling, she was the loving mother of J. Paul Kling and his wife Karen of Carlsbad, CA, Brian J. Kling of Newmarket NH, and Anne Marie Dunne and her husband John of West Newton, "Grammie" of Connor, Campbell, Evelyn, Ezri and Daniel and sister of Joan A. Donnelly and her husband Phil of Newtonville and the late Francis B. and Joseph E. Driscoll. She was also the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. Newton Corner on Fri Oct 7 at 9:30 AM followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Thurs 4-8 PM. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery Needham.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to The Elizabeth Seton Residence, Attn: Lori Ferrante, Administrator 125 Oakland St. Wellesley Hills, MA 02481-5338, in memory of Carolyn would be greatly appreciated.
